01

Storage used by the service

Cookies are small pieces of information stored by your browser. Local storage and IndexedDB can keep information after a tab closes. Session storage generally lasts for a browsing session. These technologies can be subject to the same privacy rules. This policy covers both InvoiceKO domains.

Browser storage is separate for each domain, so signing in on one address does not automatically sign you in on the other.

02

Sign in and security

Account authentication uses browser storage to maintain your session and refresh it while you remain signed in. HMRC authorisation can use a short lived secure cookie to bind the callback to the browser that started the request. A device identifier may be kept for HMRC fraud prevention when that connection is used.

Website security, connected sign in and payment functions can also use necessary security storage on their own services.

03

Preferences and work recovery

InvoiceKO uses storage for settings, interface preferences, sample data and recovery of unfinished work. Document signing can keep local document data in your browser. Some information remains until you clear it, sign out or remove it through the relevant feature.

Export needed work before clearing browser data. These storage functions are intended to provide features you request.

04

Optional tracking

The InvoiceKO application does not currently include advertising cookies or an optional marketing analytics tracker. If optional tracking is introduced, we will explain it and obtain consent where required before using it. External pages reached through links have their own cookie controls.

05

Your controls

You can review or clear site data in your browser settings and block storage through browser controls. Blocking necessary storage can prevent sign in or cause unsaved work to be lost. Signing out ends your current app session but does not erase every browser preference or downloaded file.

To remove data from both addresses, review storage for invoice.readyht.com and invoiceko.co.uk separately.
