Create a receipt from an actual payment
Record the amount received against the right invoice and check the payment date and reference. Generate the payment receipt from that record so the document reflects the payment you entered.
Payment receipts
Give clients a clear record of their payment. Create a PDF payment receipt from an invoice payment and keep it connected to the original invoice.
Your InvoiceKO account. Your business workspace.
A clearer workflow
Record the amount received against the right invoice and check the payment date and reference. Generate the payment receipt from that record so the document reflects the payment you entered.
An invoice can be settled in more than one payment. A receipt should show the amount received, while the invoice record tracks what remains outstanding. Check both before telling a client their invoice is fully paid.
Use the payment receipt PDF as a confirmation of the recorded payment. Review the business details, invoice reference, currency and amount before sharing the file with your client.
A supplier receipt supports an expense; a payment receipt confirms money received from a customer. InvoiceKO also has an expenses workspace for organising outgoing costs and receipt evidence alongside your books.
Good to know
Record the partial payment against the invoice and generate a receipt for that payment. Check the remaining invoice balance separately.
No. A payment receipt documents a payment recorded in InvoiceKO. Generating the PDF does not itself transfer money.
Yes. The expenses workspace supports expense records and receipt evidence. These are separate from the payment receipts you issue to clients.
